Vinita Nair

In July of 2004, she joined the station covering a number of stories, such as investigating the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey and the shootings that occurred in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was hired by ABC News in December 2007 as an anchor and correspondent for ABC News Now. For her work as a reporter, she offered live news and briefings to ABC's networks. Nair also co-anchored World News Now on ABC starting on September 17 in 2008. from September 17, 2008 until February 18, 2011, as well as America This Morning. The show was hosted by Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson for both of the shows. On the 17th of February the 17th of February, 2011 Nair revealed that Friday February 18 would be her final broadcast night at World News Now. Her last day at ABC News would be Friday the 18th of February. Former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her successor immediately. In each of the three segments on World News Now's February 18 show, Nair was honored by the former and present colleagues, such including Jeremy Hubbard.
