Kolber's career began working in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. The award was the Sports Emmy for her work on WTVJ-TV Miami. Other assignments included WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993 she was chosen for anchoring the first season of ESPN2's debut.
