Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter in the UFC's flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko who was a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC other fighter, is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport began with her debut as an Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was able to follow it up, and took home a silver medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008 a gold medal in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia's professional journey began in 2003. In 2012 she won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC World Championships. Antonina's most recent fight took place against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko made her professional MMA record in 2002 during KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She won via second-round TKO after which she won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko stopped fighting to pursue boxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko won against Anissa with a unanimous vote before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's superior strike skills allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC in The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi by split decision after she won her first fight. Antonina returned to the ring after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record during her subsequent three matches she won against Ariane Lipski, while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
